West Valley Volunteer Fire Department

Location: Our meetings are held at the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department located at 2412 Farm-To-Market Road, 6 miles northwest of Kalispell. The facilities offer a very nice meeting room and relatively dark skies. On clear nights following our meetings, club members will set up their scopes in the large parking area at the fire hall and, as a group, do some observing following the meeting. Visitors to our meetings are welcome to stay following the meeting an join our club members for some casual stargazing.
Public Star Parties

- Logan Pass Star Parties - Glacier National Park - The 2026 Logan Pass Star Parties are over for the season. Check back in late Spring of next year for the dates for next summer's events.
- Whitefish Legacy Partners - The BSAC and the Whitefish Legacy Partners will co-host a public star party on either Friday October 17 or Saturday the 18th (depending on the weather) at the Holbrook Overlook on Big Mountain road. The public is welcome for this event.
