Our monthly club meetings are held at the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department on Farm-To-Market Road. This location gives us an oportunity to do some viewing under nice, dark skies, immediately after the meetings, right outside the meeting place.

2010 Meeting Dates and Club Events
The Big Sky Astronomy Club meets on the Friday nearest the New Moon.
It doesn't matter if the Friday is before or after the New Moon, just whichever is closer.

Note: The times for the astronomical events in the Google Calendar below are given in Universal Time (UT) format. To convert to Mountain Standard Time, subtract 7 hours. To convert to Mountain Daylight Time, subtract 6 hours. Times for local events, such as Club Meetings, Star Parties, etc. are shown in local time format. Many of the events have additional information - just click on the event to get the info.
